Μετα από το early access beta πλέον το G1000 NXi της Working Title είναι διαθέσιμο μέσου του Market Place. To freeware addon αντικαταστεί στα default αεροπλάνα το G1000 όπως πχ στο C172, στο Caravan και όπως θα δείτε πιο κάτω σε πολλά άλλα.
Το συγκεκριμένο σύστημα έχει γραφτεί από την αρχή εντελώς και θα διαθέτει σχεδόν όλα τα features του πραγματικού. Εννοείται πως θα εξελίσσεται όλο και πιο πολύ και η Working Title μας ενημέρωσε ότι θα υπάρχουν updates και bugfixes μια φορά την εβδομάδα ή τουλάχιστον ανά δύο εβδομάδες.

Αυτό σημαίνει ότι έχουμε πλέον custom flight plan management system που μας δίνει την δυνατότητα να πετάμε DIR-TO, DME arcs, procedure turns και πολλά περισσότερα!
Επίσης έχει γραφτεί custom VNAV management από την αρχή! Επίσης ο σωστός υπολογισμός του VNAV Path κατά την διάρκεια της πτήσης ή και δεδομένα που βρίσκονται στα επιλεγμένα STARs, SID’s και APPRs, είτε για RNAV LPV, θα είναι πλήρως λειτουργικά.
Πέρα από τον κώδικα που εξομοιώνει τα avionics όσο πιο κοντά στην πραγματικότητα, υπάρχουν βεβαίως και άλλες βελτιώσεις. Είτε είναι καινούργια εικονίδια για waypoints, TOD, navigational fixes, είτε αλλαγές στις οθόνες όπως HPA IN altimeter switch, synthetic vision, wind overlay κτλ. Μέχρι και υποστήριξη για πληκτρολόγιο για να περάσουμε το flight plan η και waypoints υπάρχει!
